A beauty therapist (also known as an esthetician or beautician) provides skin and body care treatments such as facials, microdermabrasion, massage, waxing and hair removal, nail treatments, body wraps, make-up artistry and other forms of spa and body treatments.
Diploma of Beauty Therapy graduates work as professional beauty therapists in beauty salons, spas and resorts, cruise ships or may also work as make-up artists, beauty/skin care product representatives or nail technicians.

Student's achieve experience by working in the student salon, providing beauty treatments to clients. The college takes only a limited number of students in each intake, to maintain an intimate working environment, giving students close hands on interaction.
AIMS also offers the Certificate II in Make-Up Services and the Certificate III in Beauty Services, enabling students to complete their qualification training part time. The Certificate Ii in Make-Up Services and the Certificate III in Beauty Services are also open to school students to complete as part of their higher shool certificate.
